Gary Lau is a Registered Professional Surveyor with qualifications from both The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He brings extensive experience in real estate valuation across Hong Kong and Mainland China and currently serves as a Senior Director at Knight Frank Petty Limited. Mr. Lau possesses comprehensive valuation expertise across the Asia-Pacific region, providing valuation and advisory services for a diverse range of specialized property types, including data centers, golf courses, theme parks and convention and exhibition centers. He provides annual revaluation and privatization valuation services to major listed companies in Hong Kong, serving key clients such as New World Development, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Wharf, and Sino Land.

In addition, Mr. Lau is a Certified ESG Analyst, a WELL AP and a GRESB AP. Dedicated to promoting and driving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives in the real estate sector, he actively develops core practice areas including ESG reporting, ESG ratings, and climate disclosures.

In terms of professional and community service, Mr. Lau actively contributes to industry and civic affairs. He currently serves as a Co-opted Member of the General Practice Division Council of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, an Adviser on the Panel of Film Censorship Advisers for the HKSAR Government and a Member of the Sham Shui Po Un Chau Care Team under the Home Affairs Department.

Committed to advancing education, Mr. Lau currently serves as the School Supervisor of Alliance Primary School, Tai Hang Tung, and a School Manager of Christian Alliance International School. He previously served as a School Manager of Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong, from 2010 to 2014.
